Your visual portfolio should consist of 12-20 pieces of your best and most recent works including observational drawings. You can utilize a variety of media and approaches and can include assignment based projects, self-directed work and sketchbook work. This helps them in understanding your creative process. The portfolio does not need to be subject specific and can include paintings, drawings, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics etc. Artworks copied from photographs, or replicating any other artist’s work, drawings, cartoons, video game character designs are unacceptable. Three to five observational drawings should be included out of the 12-20 pieces such as Landscape, still-life, self-portrait, figure drawings and interior spaces. Drawings from imagination or works copied from photographs are unacceptable for the observational pieces.
They have campuses in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Utica in New York.
