NATA stands for “National aptitude test in Architecture”.
Why is NATA conducted and by whom?
It is a national level examination conducted by the National Council of Architecture through which students can take admission in a 5-year B. Arch Degree Course at all recognized institutions across India.
What is the application fees for NATA?
NATA application fees are as follows-
- For General Category students: ₹ 2000
- For ST/SC/OBC students: ₹ 1700
What is the eligibility criteria for NATA?
NATA has no age limit, but the candidate must have completed his/her 10+2 with 50% qualifying marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
What kind of an exam is NATA?
The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability.
When is NATA conducted?
NATA is conducted twice a year tentatively mid-year within a gap of 2 months.
How many students sit for NATA yearly?
Around 30,000 to 40,000 candidates appear in each of the two chances conducted annually.
