What is CEED?
CEED stands for “Common Entrance Examination for Design”.
Why is CEED conducted and by whom?
It is a test conducted by IIT Bombay under the guidance of UCEED-CEED Implementation Committee every year to offer admission to eligible candidates in Masters of Design (M.Des.) and PhD programmes.
What is the application fees for CEED?
CEED application fees is as follows-
- For General Category students: ₹ 3200
- For ST/SC/OBC students: ₹ 1600
What is the eligibility criteria for CEED?
- Students have to complete a 3-year degree/ diploma/ postgraduate degree programme (after 10+2 level) or,
- Candidates who are appearing the final exam of the qualifying by July 2021 can also apply for CEED or,
- Students who have passed the diploma programmes of GD Arts (10+5 level) by July 2021 are eligible to apply for CEED
- No age limit is prescribed by the authority
- Students can appear multiple times in CEED
When is CEED conducted?
CEED is conducted once a year tentatively in the month of January
How many students sit for CEED yearly?
Around 5,000 to 5,500 candidates appear annually for CEED.
How many students sit for NATA yearly?
Around 30,000 to 40,000 candidates appear in each of the two chances conducted annually.
